Common Questions

Does my panel need to be upgraded first?

Not always. Many 100/200A panels have capacity for a dedicated 240V/50A circuit. We assess your panel during the initial visit and advise if an upgrade is needed before or alongside the charger installation.

How long does a home EV charger installation take?

A standard residential installation typically takes 4–6 hours. If a panel upgrade is included, plan for a full day. We coordinate with Toronto Hydro for any required temporary shutoffs.

Can I install an EV charger in a condo?

Yes, though condo installations require approval from the building's property management. We can assist with the technical documentation needed for your condo board's approval and handle the installation once approved.
